AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) are terms for optimizing your content so AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity can find, understand, and cite it — the same way SEO optimizes for search engine rankings.

No. AI Visibility complements your existing SEO work — it doesn't replace it. Good technical SEO (clean structure, clear content, valid schema) tends to help both traditional search rankings and AI citations, so the two overlap but aren't the same thing.

We currently track visibility and citations for ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, since those are the assistants customers most commonly use for recommendations. We're evaluating others based on usage data.
